Footprint of terrorists in America's backyard

New Delhi: America might make big claims when it comes to war against terror, but here is something that clearly indicates footprints of terrorists in America's own backyard.

Lashkar-e-Toiba responsible for killing 200 people in Mumbai has a website hosted in America. Jamaat ud Dawa, a front for LeT has their website registered from Pakistan and hosted by dreamhost.com, a web hosting company in Los Angeles. Chances are America doesn’t even know about this.

“Web Hosts charge on a monthly basis and provide differing levels of service. Web hosting companies register as many domains names, it is a digital process. They can stop hosting a website if there is an official complaint, or if it is against the law,” says Rajat Khare.

www.jamatuddawa.org is sort of an online jihad. It has a large body of articles, multimedia packages and magazines in Urdu, Arabic and English and reaches out to audiences in several continents.

It would not have taken much to get this website hosted from US. One has to go to websites like domain.com or net4domains.com. Register yourself with them after making payment, which can be about 100 dollars per year

It is illegal of American companies to provide service to any terrorist organisation. So maybe now it is time for America to take some action.
