For Press Information Bureau, Kalam still the Prez

CNN-IBN

New Delhi: That former president A P J Abdul Kalam was a favourite of all was evident during the run-up to renunciation of Presidency, but his popularity seems to have reached an extent where some refuse to acknowledge his retirement.

On the website of the Press Information Bureau, five days after Pratibha Patil was sworn in as the new president, it’s Kalam who is shown as the head of India’s highest office.

Interestingly, the website does have a link to Patil’s Presidential address delivered on her first day of taking charge.
