Pune: Singer Sonu Nigam was caught in the middle of a controversy as he reportedly was sent a notice for unauthorised construction on forest land in Khandala.
Reportedly the Pune zonal forest department had filed a case against the singer for unauthorised construction of his farmhouse in Khandala.
His farmhouse is allegedly built on forest land. Nigam has already been served a notice for the same.
However, forest department officials in Pune on Wednesday denied reports that they had filed a case against noted singer Sonu Nigam for an unauthorised construction of a farm house at Khandla hill station.
"We had not filed any case against Nigam," said a Pune forest official.
