BANGALORE: Noted journalist and former Editor-in-Chief of Indian Express and Financial Express NS Jagannanthan passed away in Bangalore after a brief illness.
He was 89.
In his career spanning over four decades, he worked in various positions and made a mark for himself. He succeeded Arun Shourie as Group Editor of Indian Express and held that position till his retirement in 1992.
Jagannathan was also a good writer. He edited the English version of Kamba Ramayanam by Prof P S Sundaram.
