Mumbai: Former Mumbai police commissioner Arup Patnaik was on Wednesday admitted to the Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai where he underwent an angioplasty. He had gone to the hospital for a check-up and had complained of discomfort and irritation.
Following his complaint, an angiography was done on the former Mumbai police chief which revealed a blockage. After this, Patnaik underwent an angioplasty.
Patnaik is currently admitted on the 19th floor of the Jaslok Hospital and is likely to be discharged on Friday.
