New Delhi: Union Minister of Tourism and Culture, Ambika Soni has ordered an enquiry into the incident where Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s film unit was shooting for film Veer at Fort Amber when a wall at the historical fort fell.
The shooting at the location had already been stopped after the accident on Friday. A case has also been registered against the Amber or Amer Fort authorities and the director and the producer of the film.
The Rajasthan government has also been served a court notice, asking it to explain why the norms relating to protected historical monuments were not followed. The last date for replying officially to the query is March 3.
Apart from structural damage to the protected monument, the producers of Veer must also answer for the injuries caused by the wall collapse.
