Foundation laying for Kudgi plant

BIJAPUR: The foundation stone laying ceremony for the 4000 MW mega thermal power plant to be established at Kudgi village is scheduled to be held on June 2.
Senior plant manager (PR) Elbert C told Express from Bangalore on Tuesday that Union Energy Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde will attend the function and inaugurate the office complex of the plant. Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda will preside over the function. MoS for Energy, K C Venugopal will also attend the
function.
