KOCHI: Eloor municipality chairperson Lissy George inaugurated the free eye check-up camp at the Indian Oil petrol bunk in Kalamassery which will be on till August 31. It is a joint venture of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and Vasan Eye Care hospital. The public can avail themselves of the free service from 10 am to 6 pm. The chairperson underwent an eye check-up as part of the inaugural ceremony. “People should make use of these camps as timely action can prevent blindness,” said Lissy
V R Menon, senior divisional retail sales manager, Indian Oil Corporation, municipal councillors K M Abdul Razak and Joy Kozhikara, N A Muhammed Kutty, MD, Falcon Infrastructures Ltd, Manoj K V, manager, Vasan Eye Care and other dignitaries participated in the inaugural function.
