Rohit Khilnani, CNN-IBN

Mumbai: After being released from the Hyderabad jail, Monica Bedi is now spending time with her family in Hoshiarpur. CNN-IBN's Rohit Khilnani spoke to Bedi and asked her what freedom meant to her.

Rohit Khilnani: What does freedom mean to you?

Monica Bedi: Freedom doesn’t have a price. I am very happy to God that I have been set free.

Rohit Khilnani: Whom did you miss the most or what did you miss the most?

Monica Bedi: I missed my family though they have been close to me always. I missed my friends, the film industry and my work.

Rohit Khilnani: Do you have any regrets? When you turn back what do you think of?

Monica Bedi: I have no regrets. What was written in my fate has taken place. I am yet to see the future.

Rohit Khilnani: You have been known to say that you want to be more careful now, what do you mean by that?

Monica Bedi: Earlier, I think that I was too innocent and believed people easily. Now I will be much more careful before stepping out. I have learnt so much that I have become a stronger person.

Rohit Khilnani: When you look at life 10 years back, how is it different than now?

Monica Bedi: I was leading a normal life, its just that there was no freedom. Being in jail was also an experience. I got to learn so much. I never thought that I would be able to lead a normal life. I came in touch with different types of people. What ever happened, it happened for good. It is over now. I take it positively.

Rohit Khilnani: So you do not have any regrets at all?

Monica Bedi: No, I do not have any regrets.
