Bangalore: Three girls born in India and adopted by a French couple years ago, come back to the country of their birth to re-discover their roots and visit the orphanage that was their first home.
Meet Bina-Ruth, Rachita-Beth and Pratiksha-Kate were adopted at an early age by David John and Loralee Lee. And though they call France their home, the family is visiting an orphanage in Bangalore, a past they still feel connected to.
"It's really nice here and I like it. There is a lot of stuff to see. The day I got here, I thought I would be really shy, but I wasn't," said Pratiksha-Kate.
The three say, their visit has made them fall in love with India.
"I would like to adopt an Indian child when I grow up, maybe from Bangalore," said Rachita- Beth.
When asked, if the parents would like to adopt another child from India, Loralee lee said, "I would love to, but it's decision I can only take after discussing with my husband."
Everyone at the orphanage was in awe of the family whose members can surely be called citizens of the world.
