This Friday at the box office there are only two new releases. One is Roadside Romeo, Bollywood's much awaited animation film. The second release is a multi-starrer titled Heroes.
Roadside Romeo
Yashraj Films’ co-production with Walt Disney – the animation flick Roadside Romeo, revolves around Romeo a cool dog – who lives a life of luxury with great food, chicks and parties. But that is until his owners move out leaving him to fend for himself.
The street smart Romeo now battles stray dogs and learns to live life by roughing it out.
Along the way Romeo also falls in love with Laila – the hottest female dog in town, but he can't yet wag his tail and walk into the sunset with his love because he first has to deal with dreaded don Charlie Anna!
So join Romeo on this adventure – voiced by Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Jaaved Jaffrey.
Heroes
After two box office debacles filmmaker Samir Karnik now brings us Heroes.
Starring lesser known actors Sohail Khan and Vatsal Seth, the film also stars biggies like Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Salman Khan, Preity Zinta and Mithun Chakravarthy.
Heroes is about a road trip undertaken by the two aimless graduates – who travel a 1,000 miles to make a film on why one shouldn't join the Indian Army.
However, the trip and people they meet on the way, completely change their attitude, opinion of the defense forces and their idea of patriotism.
The film earlier titled Mera Bharat Mahan will see Salman for the first time in as Sikh Army Officer, Preity Zinta riding a tractor and the Deol brothers together once again.
What remains to be seen is if this heroic effort manages to woo the audience.
