Friday releases: Siddharth back as Striker

Couples Retreat featuring soundtrack by A R Rahman hits the theatres this week. But that's not the only release---there's also Old Dogs, a comedy starring John Travolta and Robin Williams and Law Abiding Citizen starring Gerard Butler.

Striker

Set in a Mumbai ghetto in the mid 80's, Striker is a story of 'Surya' played by Siddharth of Rang De Basanti fame. Surya is born in to a poor family but his passion for the game of carrom keeps him going. But when he loses his savings for a new life in Dubai, Surya starts playing carrom again, but to hustle his way out of poverty.

Couples Retreat

A multi-starrer comedy, Couples Retreat follows a couple who in a bid to save their marriage, book a vacation to a couples therapy retreat, called Eden. And in order to encourage them, their friends join them as well for a vacation. Just that, the therapy sessions at the resort are not optional. Oscar winner, A R Rahman has given the soundtrack in the film.

Law Abiding Citizen

Law Abiding Citizen is a crime thriller in which Gerard Butler plays Clyde Shelton who, ten years after the murder of his wife and daughter, decides to take justice into his own hands. In the process, he ends up targeting, not only the killer but the District Attorney --- played by Jamie Foxx -- as well.

Old Dogs

Old Dogs is a comedy about two best friends and business partners played by Robin Williams and John Travolta. Their lives turn upside down when they are unexpectedly left in charge of 7-year-old twins even as they are on the verge of the biggest business deal of their lives.

Armoured

Armoured is the story of a new guard at an armored truck company, who is trying to get rid of his criminal record. But he is convinced by his co-workers to steal $42 million from one of the trucks. However, an unexpected twist to their foolproof plan leads to a potentially deadly end.
