With Multiplex owners and film producers having failed to reach a solution, once again, it's just Hollywood releases this weekend! Here's more on this Friday's releases.
WATCHMEN
For Delhiites, it is Zack Snyder's Watchmen--Based on Allan Moore's graphic novels, this Hollywood biggie is set in an alternate 1985, in an America where superheroes are a part of the society. Watchmen follows the unhinged masked superhero Rorschach, who sets out to investigate the murder of his former colleague. For which he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion, a washed up group of retired superheros. This one's not just for comic book fans!
MY MOM'S NEW BOYFREIND
Meanwhile, Mumbaikars can catch 'My Mom's New Boyfriend' a light hearted comedy, by George Gallo. The film tells the story of Marty and her son Henry who leaves behind his over-weight and depressed mom to go for FBI training. He comes back to discover a slim mother who has turned into a party animal. Within a day of Henry's returning home with his FBI profiler fiancé, his mother falls in love with a hot foreigner, Tommy. However, all hell breaks loose when Henry realises that Tommy is the thief that the FBI has been looking for. The Film stars the sizzling Meg Ryan and Antonio Bandreas, and will be sure to raise the temperature a notch up.
