New Delhi: The Lokpal joint drafting committee is meeting for the eighth time on Monday to try and draft an Anti-Corruption Bill that both government and the civil society members agree on.
A hint of UPA's tough stand came in Congress president Sonia Gandhi's letter to Anna Hazare. Responding the latest Anna mail, she sent a terse mail saying, she has already replied to all his queries in her previous letter.
Here's a copy of the letter:
Dear Anna Hazareji,
I received your letter on June 9, 2011. Because I was out of station, I could not reply to the letter. And meanwhile, you have also made the letter public. I will take information in this regard. As far as the issues concerned in the letter go, I have already replied to your queries in the letter dated April 9, 2011.
Best Wishes,
Sonia Gandhi
