VIJAYAWADA: The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) is facing a severe fund crunch as the state government and the Centre are yet to release the grants due to it. Consequently, many development works have come to a halt for the time-being. Some other works are progressing at a slow pace. The VMC is yet to get grants worth Rs 200 crore from the Centre and the state.
