Bangalore: Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly on Tuesday confirmed that he got calls threatening to kidnap his only daughter Sana. He refused to divulge any more information to the media.
"Yes, it is true that we have received calls threatening to kidnap my daughter. I appreciate if this topic is not discussed at this point of time," Ganguly told reporters on Tuesday hinting that the matter was under investigation.
There were reports about the former India skipper receiving kidnapping threats.
Ganguly announced his retirement after a training camp in Bangalore on Tuesday. The Border-Gavaskar Trophy which begins from Thursday will be his last international series.
