New Delhi: The Delhi Police on Saturday detained a relative of ex-Haryana minister Gopal Kanda for questioning in connection with the MDLR ex-staffer, Geetika Sharma's suicide. Kanda, the key accused in the case, has been evading arrest ever since Geetika's alleged suicide came to light.
Geetika reportedly committed suicide on Saturday night and three days later, on Wednesday, the police confirmed that Kanda was absconding.
What is puzzling many is that the police did not arrest him even three days after the incident despite having valid proof against him, the suicide note left behind by his ex-employee Geetika.

Ex-Haryana minister Gopal Kanda has been evading arrest ever since his ex-employee Geetika\'s alleged suicide came to light.
Meanwhile, MDLR excutive and co-accused in the case Aruna Chaddha will be produced in court on Saturday as her two-day custody ends.
