Get ready for a naked Bart in The Simpsons Movie

New Delhi: The all American family – The Simpsons turned up in their hometown Springfield on Saturday for the premiere of their highly anticipated big screen debut The Simpsons Movie.

Interestingly, this town in Vermont won an online USA Today poll to earn the honour of hosting the premiere of the film.

And the residents turned up in hoards to catch a glimpse of their favourite characters on the big screen.

Promising to comment on global warming and spirituality, the highlights of the movie also include a naked Bart for the first time!

And true to its spirit The Simpsons Movie is breaking all rules and reveling in some serious and non-conventional advertising for its fans.

So, as 20th Century Fox's tie-up with Burger King is running co-branded TV ads, the 7-Eleven convenience store chain sees around 2,400 stores turn into Kwik-E-Marts, the Simpsons fictional mini-market offering some favourite food stuffs of various Simpsons characters.

Jet Blue airline too is ensuring the film's promotion by labelling itself the "official airline of Springfield," the Simpsons' hometown. And what's more, Vans has hired 12 underground artists to design 14 styles of Simpsons-inspired sneakers that are on sale in the US.
