New Delhi: Not happy with your smile? It's time you visit designers who can get you that perfect smile to suit your liking.

If you are looking for a career in showbiz, this sound may be the sound of money in the bank. After all most showbiz stars have had their smiles enhanced by way of cosmetic surgery.

"People from all age groups, from small children to sixty-year olds, are coming to the cosmetic industry for smile design and other smile-enhancement surgeries," says cosmetic dentist Dr Sween Kathuria.

So, how does one get the perfect smile? It is a long drawn procedure and may require one to five sittings depending on the condition of your teeth.

You will go through the bleaching, bonding and veneering process to get your that perfect shine. And that is not the end, you get a gum check-up and the treatment can last up till five years.

The average cost of a smile enhancement treatment ranges between Rs 350 to Rs 1 lakh depending upon how you look after your ivories.

Veneers (plastic or porcelain facing which is bonded directly to a tooth to improve its appearance) need to be polished every six months and people using them have to stop drinking and smoking to prevent stains.
