Legendary Hollywood icon and the late princess of Monaco, Grace Kelly, lives on.
In a bid to mark the actress's 25th death anniversary, New York auction house Sotheby's has recently organised an exhibition of her memorabilia.
The memorabilia is extensive and covers sundry facets of the late princess's personal and professional life as an actress, which she left behind when she married Monaco's Prince Rainier.
From the Academy Award for Best Actress for the 1955 film The Country Girl and her 10.47 carat diamond engagement ring, to announcements of the birth of her children, Caroline and Albert, the exhibits consists of many of Kelly's personal items, which include her baptism certificate, several astrological charts, a diamond tiara she wore to her daughter, Princess Caroline's wedding, her wedding gown, as well as some letters from celebrities such as Jacqueline Kennedy, Alfred Hitchcock and artist Marc Chagall.
Also on auction are two dresses: one, an embroidered Helen Rose ball gown which she wore in her last movie, the 1955 musical comedy High Society, and the other, a green Givenchy frock which the princess had worn on a political visit to the White House, in 1961.
