Global warming threatening earth's glaciers

New Delhi: High up on the Himalayas are ancient sheets of ice more than 5,000 years old. However, in the breathtaking surroundings of the mountains, one of the biggest catastrophes is about to hit Planet Earth. Glaciers, the ice factories of the planet that provide fresh water for billions are disappearing and alarmingly fast.
