Click to play videoMumbai: UK celebrity, Jade Goody who had made an entry to the Bigg Boss show with quite a fanfare has had to made a quick exit from the show after being diagonosed with cervical cancer.
CNN-IBN was told by sources that Goody was told about it last night in the diary room of the TV show.
The mother of two, aged 27, was in hysterics as she made the announcement.
Sources report that she was immediately withdrawn from the programme.
She will fly back home on Tuesday afternoon.
Goody, who had earlier undergone hospital tests had decided to participate in the Bigg Boss apparently to try and make amends for her alleged racist comments against Shipa Shetty on last year's Celebrity Big Brother.
Shilpa Shetty, the host of Bigg Boss Season 2, said, "It is unbelievable, life is so unpredictable. My prayers are with Jade, and her family in this hour. I hope that she is going back with happy memories from this country."
