“I've said sorry back home a lot of times, but I haven’t had the opportunity to say it to the Indian community and I'm sorry for all the pain and hurt my actions caused,” says Goody.
Goody apologised for making racist-remarks against Shilpa. Goody describes her weeklong trip as strictly "private" in more than one way.
“I funded it all by myself and I kept it private because it is not a publicity stunt,” she says.
Goody was in the capital to represent an international NGO called 'Railway Children' and has already donated $50,000 from her Big Brother earnings to the NGO.
“All the money that I earned from Big Brother and the interviews after the show everything associated with the show has been donated to charity,” she says.
When asked if she had any plans of meeting her former roommate Shilpa, Goody said, “I've been informed that she invited me, but unfortunately because I'm here, I've got charities so it won't be possible this time.”
