New Delhi: Google Nexus 5, reportedly, was earlier scheduled to be unveiled on October 28, but speculations about the launch of the Nexus 5 on October 28 have now come to an end. Google is now expected to unwrap its next-generation Nexus smartphone on November 1.
The new launch date started doing the rounds after the prolific Twitter tipster @evleaks tweeted an image of the purported Nexus 5 (White) smartphone. The supporting text in the tweet says, "In white. 11/1," which hints the launch date of the Nexus 5.
Recently, the much-awaited Nexus 5 accidentally made an appearance on Google Play, suggesting an early November launch. We have already seen the black-coloured Nexus 5 in a bunch of leaked images, and now we have got an early look at the white-coloured Nexus 5. The leaked images suggest that the Nexus 5 will come in white and black.
The Nexus 5 is likely to have a 4.95-inch 1080p display, 8MP rear camera, and a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor.
