Google translator fixes Suresh Raina error

New Delhi: After a technical glitch on Google translate, keywords "Suresh Raina is God" spread like a wild fire on Google and Twitter trends yesterday. Google has now rectified the error and now cricketer, Suresh Raina’s name translation remains Suresh Raina in all languages.

The Google translator was translating "Suresh Raina is God" in Serbian to "Sachin Tendulkar is God" in English.

The phrase 'Suresh Raina is God' and 'Serbian' were top ten on Google trends.

Google has now rectified the error and now cricketer, Suresh Raina's name translation remains Suresh Raina in all languages.

This had led to many reactions from users on Twitter, Abhishek Gupta wrote, "So Suresh Raina is a trending topic on twitter because of Sachin paji.. See that's the power of god - he is omnipresent."

Tamraj wrote, "Using Google translate "Suresh Raina is god" from English to Serbian and then back to English, and see the magic"

Prashant wrote, "Can anyone tell me how that happens? Do Serbs think Suresh Raina and sachin are the same?"

The internet giant was quick to rectify the glitch after being flooded with searches and reaction in the cyber space.
