Govt to censor graphic content in videogames

New Delhi: Is your child hooked to violent computer games? Well, if you can't make him or her stop, the Government just might be able to do it for you.

Alarmed by the graphic content in videogames, the Information & Broadcasting Ministry now wants to censor them.

While this would require changing the law and might take some time, game manufacturers might soon have to display age rating certificates on their DVD's.

Microsoft, makers of the popular Xbox consoles and games, has welcomed the move, but claims most of its games here already carry parental warnings where required.
