London: The 11th annual Men of the Year awards by GQ Magazine was a night for the men in London this week.
Men who have excelled in business, sports or entertainment were all dressed up and strutting the red carpet, posing for the shutterbugs.
The women too were willing to take a step back, just this once!
Elle Macpherson, supermodel said, “Its all about men, lets celebrate men!”
Alan Carr, Comedian, “I am here for the free food!”
Twenty two awards were given away during the ceremony hosted by Sir Elton John and Pop singer Lily Allen.
Josh Brolin, who will be seen as playing George W Bush in the much awaited film W was the actor of the year.
Lifetime achievement award went to singer Tony Bennett and the outstanding achievement award went to legendary rock 'n' roll band, Led Zeppelin
GQ, which is sometimes called 'vogue for men' started 50 years ago and after launching in 14 countries is ready to enter India end of the month.
So look out for the first issue in October.
