On the eve of the Republic Day, the Government of India announced the list of 2012 Padma awardees. We did a little number crunching and plotted the data on charts to reveal hidden dimensions that might not be obvious in the long list of Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri awardees.
