Greece, Slovenia draw 1-1 in friendly

Kufstein, Austria: Midfielder Jasmin Kurtic scored on his international debut to earn Slovenia a 1-1 draw with European Championship-bound Greece on Saturday.

Kurtic levelled in the 87th minute. Earlier, he missed Slovenia's best chance by sending a free kick just over the bar.

Greece defender Vasilis Torosidis put the 2004 champions in front after eight minutes with a low shot coming in from the right wing.

Greece ended the match with 10 players after midfielder Panagiotis Kone was sent off for violent conduct in injury time.

Greece play Armenia in Kufstein again on May 31 before they meet Poland in the Euro 2012 opener in Warsaw on June 8 in a group that also contains the Czech Republic and Russia.
