Government sources say one of the police officers arrested in the case has confessed to his involvement in Sohrabuddin's murder.
The status report says three more police officers have been arrested in the case and more arrests are likely.
Johri says that the role of the Andhra police is also under the scanner.
The case of fake encounter of Sohrabuddin Sheikh has for which three IPS officers including D G Vanzara, Rajkumar Pandian and M N Dinesh, have been arrested has hit national headlines.
The Gujarat police also killed Sheikh’s wife Kauserbi, as she was the witness of the encounter. The state CID is investigating the case.
