Gujarat: Man arrested for hacking wife, two children to death

Dahod: Police arrested a man on Thursday for hacking his wife and two children to death in Garbada area of the district.

"Vajesinh Ninama (35) today axed his wife Sumitra (30), seven-year-old son Aakash and two-year-old daughter Sheetal to death at his house in Khajuria village of Dahod district's Garbada taluka," Police Sub Inspector RS Patel told PTI.

"He has been arrested and booked under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code," Patel added.

Police said Ninama's wife and children were asleep when he attacked them.

According to the police, Ninama's wife and children were asleep when he attacked them. When the accused's father woke up in the morning, he saw the bloody scene and informed the police. Ninama's father claimed he was mentally unstable for the last two years and was undergoing treatment for the same.
