New Delhi: In poll-bound Gujarat, the ruling BJP and the Congress are expected to release their manifestos on Monday. Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jailtley and other leaders will release the BJP's manifesto on Monday in Ahmedabad.
Apart from promising affordable housing for urban and rural poor, the BJP is also expected to go aggressive on all completed development projects including the Sardar Sarovar Branch canal.
Even as the Congress takes on Modi with its promise of affordable housing for urban women, free laptops to students, sops to government employees and reduction of VAT on petrol and diesel, BJP president Nitin Gadakri has hailed the Gujarat Chief Minister's development model.
"Under Modi's leadership, the Gujarat BJP has become a model of development for India and the world." Gadakri said.
The BJP chief said that he is confident that the part under the leadership of Modi in Gujarat will come to power again. "We will definitely win in Gujarat. But the NDA and the BJP's flag will fly high in Delhi's Parliament too," Gadakri said.
