New Delhi: The chairman of the Special Investigation Team, appointed by the Supreme Court to probe into the Gujarat riots, has written to the apex court to reconsider its earlier order on Shivanand Jha and Geeta Johri.
The SC had earlier asked the SIT to keep Jha and Johri out of all trials and investigations into the riots. The Gujarat government had complained to the apex court that certain documents were passed to the Centre directly. "Something is happening behind the scene and that must stop," the court had observed.
