New Delhi: The gloves are off in this battle royale. Scion of the Gandhis being challenged by the man who could be the key face of the BJP in future. Narendra Modi is back at what he has always done well – Rahul bashing.

Modi likened Rahul to a small aquarium fish which is good to look at in the bowl but doesn't have the ability to ride the waves.

In the last Lok Sabha elections, BJP had managed only 12 seats despite winning the previous assembly elections by a landslide.

Over the last two months, Rahul has been making several trips to Gujarat appealing to the youth and women. With Modi now raising the ante, the congress too is hitting back

Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwari retorted says, “He is correct when he describes himself as a fish from the ocean but I would only like to qualify that statement and say that he is a piranha which devours innocent human beings.”

Gujarat is a key state for the BJP. To realise his Prime Ministerial ambitions, LK Advani needs the maximum from this party stronghold. Modi has to play a key role in that mission.
