Patna: Priyanka, the sisiter of the gunned down Patna boy Rahul Raj says MNS leader Raj Thackeray is a political terrorist.
Raj is out on bail but Priyanka's brother Rahul Raj is dead. Can Raj Thackeray claim to have nothing to do with the death of Rahul Raj, asked his distraught sisters on news channels across the nation.
Priyanka said, "He (her brother Rahul) wanted to talk on the phone and he was not given a chance."
A gun-wielding Rahul Raj had taken a bus hostage in Mumbai on Monday during rush hour and demanded a phone call be made to Raj Thackeray. He injured a commuter and had held the conductor hostage.
Police ultimately opened fire and Rahul Raj died in the incident.
Local politicians had argued that since it was a question of many lives at peril due to a man who was not ready to lay down the weapon, the police action was justified.
"The police did the right thing," said Maharashtra Home Minister R R Patil.
What the nation saw of Rahul Raj on television, contradicts what lies at his Patna residence.
A rakhi greeting from a sister and a room crammed with books tell of a middle class diploma holder from Patna who was desperate for a job inMumbai and does not show any signs of a trigger happy youth.
"He would never kill. I have known him for years," said his neighbour Lalit Kumar.
Rahul's death is being milked by the politicians from Bihar.
The question no one is answering is what made Rahul Raj snap. Are more such tragic incidents on the way, ask many.
