New Delhi: One person, identified as Rajesh, has surrendered in court in the Gurgaon BMW hit-and-run case. Rajesh claims he was driving the BMW car at the time of the accident.

Rajesh is a close relative of the owner of the BMW. Officials say his theory doesn't corroborate with the investigations so far.

A pregnant woman and the driver of their car were killed as a BMW rammed into their vehicle in Gurgaon on May 5. The woman's husband was injured in the accident and was in the hospital.

The BMW car had rammed into another car near Gurgaon's IFFCO Chowk Metro Station. The occupants were killed instantly. The driver of the BMW had fled the scene.
