New Delhi: A pub in Gurgaon's DT City Mall is in trouble after police found that alcohol was being served to school children. At the time of the raid, 115 people between ages of 15 and 20 were present in the pub and consuming alcohol.
The legal age for drinking is 25. The police also seized hookas from the place. The owner of the pub has been fined under the excise act and a complaint has been filed against him.
"By serving alcohol to school children, the pub was trying to destroy their future. We have fined them under Excise Act and we will also try to cancel their licence," said a police official, Subhash Kaushik.
