New Delhi: A 24-year-old woman has been found dead at her residence in Gurgaon.
The woman, Ranju Singh, was found hanging from the ceiling fan of a room at her house.
Ranju was working as a senior executive at a leading private bank. She was married just two months back to Praveer Singh, an executive with a software firm.
Praveer found his wife's body hanging from ceiling fan when he came home from work.
Family members of the victim claim it's a murder. But the police are also probing the possibility of suicide.
The body has been sent for autopsy.
Says ASI, Gurgaon, Jaswant Singh, “We got to know there was a suicide in this house. On arrival we saw the woman's body and her husband.”
The victim’s family is crying foul. “I don't accept this as suicide, as Ranju has injuries on her forehead as well,” says victim's uncle, Ramesh.
