Guwahati: A CRPF personnel killed after a grenade targeting the central forces exploded at busy Paltan Bazar area in Guwahati on Saturday evening. Ten persons were also injured in the attack.
The grenade was hurled by two persons at the central security forces near the Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) ticket counter adjacent to the Paltan Bazar police station at 7:00 pm, said sources.
The injured were immediately rushed to the Guwahati Medical College Hospital.
