GV Sudhakar Naidu to direct a Bollywood multi-starrer

It is an achievement of sorts for a Telugu film maker. GV Sudhakar Naidu of ‘Hero’ and ‘Ranga - The Donga’ fame has wowed Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor with his story. Kumar Yadav and Salman Khan would be producing this movie, which will also see Hema Malini and Rekha in important lead cast.

"I prepared a story on the basis of a real-life incident that happened in the border region of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. When I narrated the script, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar gave their nod immediately. Since I lived in Delhi for 12 years in the past, I have good hold over Hindi. The film will go on the floors very soon," Sudhakar said.

Sudhakar's upward mobility to Bollywood hinges on the fact that Telugu films have had a successful run in that industry for years now. "Many films from Tollywood have been remade into Hindi in the recent times. We decided to give GV this opportunity in this backdrop," a note from the producers said.
