Handicrafts and handloom expo

AP Handicrafts Development Corporation and is organizing a Lepakshi Crafts Bazar and an exclusive Handlooms and Handicrafts exhibition at the NTR Stadium, near Indira Park, from September 28 to October 7.

The main aim of this program is to promote and create a marketing facility to the handloom and handicrafts artisans and to boost the earnings. All varieties of cotton and silk of Andhra Pradesh and other states such as Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra & Jharkhand are on display. Handlooms on display and sale include the Bengali Silk, Bhagalpur Silk, Maheshwari, Venkatagiri, Mangalagiri, Kashmir Silk, Banaras Silk, Orissa Silk, Pochampally, Kalamkari, Tussar Silk, Chanderi, Kota Sarees, Narayanpet, Cheerala, Bandhani Work, Kutch Embroidery and Jharkhand Silk This Exhibition is open from 11 am to 9 pm.
