CNN-IBN

Panipat: The Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has refused to accept a silver chair gifted by his party members on Monday in Panipat. This happens to be his first constituency meeting in Panipat.

Hooda accepted a silver crown, but he refused to even sit on the chair. Hooda has been cautious after the recent controversy over Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BSP chief Mayawati's multi-crore garland. Income Tax department has already launched a probe into the incident.

Hooda announced set up of four new power plants in Haryana. He assured that every house in the state would get electricity for at least 20 hours to 22 hours daily.
