Haryana: Seven-year-old girl raped by school friend

Faridabad: A girl was allegedly raped by her 14-year-old school friend in Palla area of the district, police said on Tuesday.

Family members of the 7-year-old victim alleged that the girl was lured by the boy, who took her to his house on Saturday and sexually assaulted her, they said.

Girl's mother had informed them about the matter after she found her daughter in blood-stained clothes when she returned from work. A case of rape was registered against the accused and an inquiry initiated after the medical report confirmed rape, they said.

The family members of the girl said that a case has been registered against the accused after the medical report confirmed the rape.
