Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued a contempt notice to two officials of the Haryana government. This is on a plea by Ashok Khemka, the IAS officer who was transferred after he began probing the Robert Vadra-DLF land deals.

Khemka has alleged that he was discriminated against in the draw of lots for plots in Bahadurgarh and Faridabad. Khemka was unsuccessful in the draw because he was put in the general category, reducing his chances of getting a plot.

Khemka, who was transferred after he ordered a probe into the Vadra-DLF Manesar deal, had said that he was transferred over 40 times in his 21 years of service. Khemka had also cancelled the mutation in the land deal.
