Health news: Cholesterol and birth; Antibiotic checks stroke

New Delhi: A recent study in the Journal Paediatrics has found a link between low cholesterol levels in women and premature births.

Minocycline, a broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic has been found to reduce the damage caused by an ischemic stroke.
