Henin-Kuznetsova clash in the final

CNN-IBN

Justine Henin has clearly dominated the US Open this year. The top seed has made it to the finals and with not much trouble.

Henin was up against Venus Williams. Venus played some good tennis but was unable to find her rhythm. She lost the first set in a tie-breaker and did not recover after that.

Henin's played some attacking tennis to take away the second set 6-4. Henin is in her 2nd straight US Open finals and has already won 6 Grand Slam titles. Winning at the Flushing Meadows once in 2003.

And she will play Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova in the finals. Kuznetsova started sluggishly in her match against Anna Chakvetadze but recovered after losing the 1st set.

She won the second set 6-1 and at this point Chakvetadze's inexperience clearly showed. She lost her momentum, losing the match 6-3, 1-6, 1-6. Svetlana Kuznetsova has also won the US Open once before in 2004. This is the only grand slam she has won.
