New Delhi: French striker Thierry Henry completed his move from Arsenal to Spanish giants Barcelona on Monday.

Henry passed a medical test on Monday before being unveiled at the Nou Camp after signing a four-year deal with the Catalan outfit.

Barca agreed to a four-year deal with the 29-year-old super striker for a fee close to $33 million. Henry leaves Arsenal as the club's most prolific scorer ever, with a phenomenal 226 goals from 364 games.

Henry resisted a move to Barcelona after the 2006 Champions League final, opting to sign a new four-year contract with Arsenal.

"I'm really pleased to be here. It's been a long chase if I can say, but I'm finally here. I actually know a lot of players in the Barcelona team, and on top of that, some of them who have been really close. I know you guys would have not liked us to be friends, but we are friends," Henry said after he was given the famous No. 14 jersey, once donned by Dutch legend Johann Cryuff.
