Mahesh Bhupathi took time off to hold a tennis clinic in Mumbai and Nagpur as he is not playing the Davis Cup this year. CNN-IBN's Roma Khanna caught up with Bhupathi to talk about his immediate plans regarding the Grand Slams where he will be partnering Sania Mirza. Bhupathi also spoke about his relationship with Leander Paes.
Mahesh Bhupathi: I did a clinic at Nagpur on Sunday and there were around 150 kids to attend the clinic. They had a good time and had fun. At this age I think the most important thing is to enjoy the game.
Roma Khanna: What about you. Do you still enjoy the game?
Mahesh Bhupathi: Actually I do. Just answering their questions and listening to them is pretty amusing.
Roma Khanna: You will be partnering Sania for the French Open and the Wimbledon. Can you tell us about this partnership?
Mahesh Bhupathi: I think we both wanted to play with each other and that is right time to play. Come French Open and you will see us together on the court.
Roma Khanna: What do you think about Indian when the team play Uzbekistan?
Mahesh Bhupathi: We have got a young team and they have their work cut out. Uzbekistan is definitely not one of the powerhouses of Asian tennis. So I think they will have a good shot as long as we win one match on the first day and then everything is possible.
Roma Khanna: Will you reconsider you decision playing for India?
Mahesh Bhupathi: I never said never but as of now no.
Roma Khanna: What about Leander Paes. Will you play with him in the future?
Mahesh Bhupathi: We will have to wait and see. That's a question I can't really answer.
