New Delhi: Director Larry Wachowski, of the Matrix trilogy fame, has apparently undergone a sex change operation and now calls herself Lana, according to media reports. Wachowski introduced her new persona in the trailer of his latest film 'Cloud Atlas'.
"Hi, I'm Lana," Wachowski said in the video. The sex change comes after nearly a decade of hormone therapy, reported the AOL website. The Matrix trilogy with his brother Andy is a mega successful franchise worldwide.
Cloud Atlas stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry and Hugh Grant, and is based on a novel by British author David Mitchell. Wachowski is said to have left her wife for a dominatrix back when 'The Matrix' was released.
