Danny boyle might be adding the golden statuette to his collection. Kate winslet, who has been nominated for her role in the Reader might face competition from Meryl Streep.
Although Mickey Rourke seems a safe bet for the best Actor, Sean Penn is a strong contender.
“As of now we have bets of up to £10- 15000, it will get more exciting around 3-4 days before Oscar night,” says Rupert.
It is not just hope but lots of money that's riding on Slumdog Millionaire’s success at the Oscars. After bagging 4 golden globes and 7 Baftas, the film seems a safe bet to win the golden statuette.
